Scope of Position

Scope: The Financial & Reporting Analyst reports to the Controller and assists in compiling and reporting on data to ensure compliance with construction contracts and internal policies and procedures to include prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements, lien waiver compliance, and expense report reviews. The Financial & Reporting Analyst will provide support for various other projects as assigned to ensure contractual compliance and that the financial records are closed timely and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

Physical Requirements: Abilty to lift up to 50 lbs on occassion.

Working Conditions: Most work time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. Occasional time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors' and/or internal customers' sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.

Location: This position is located in our West Lebanon, NH, office with two-day per week hybrid flexibility after initial training period.

Responsibilities
    Compile, enter, and analyze prevailing wage and apprentice data from subcontractors to ensure compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements.
  • Ensure and compile vendor unconditional lien waivers after payment has been made.
  • Serve as a back-up for Accounts Payable.
  • Work with the Accounting Dept. team to ensure timely month-end close.
  • Perform assigned account reconciliations monthly.
  • Participate in various internal and external audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred

Skills/Knowledge

  • Proficiency in MS Office environment, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 and Concur preferred
  • Ability to learn and use ERP systems
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt easily and accept changing situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Ability to take direction from multiple people and to support multiple people within the department
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
