Job Summary

To conduct research in communication disorders under the direction of a faculty mentor.

Minimum Education and Experience

- Master’s degree in field directly related to research- Two (2) years of experience/expertise performing research relating to a specified field of study- Or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience totaling at least eight years.

Preferred Education and Experience

PhD degree in field directly related to communication disorders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all duties related to specified research which may include: performing responsible experimental or research work; determining results desired by the project and suggest procedures to be used to attain desired results; select key research personnel, supervise and instruct them in work; coordinate and review the work of assigned research staff; submit project results to director and prepare and assist in the preparation of scientific papers.

Additional Information

Up to three scholarly publications and three letters of recommendation are required.

Applicants need to combine their scholarly publications into one integrated document (PDF or MS Word), which should then be uploaded as the Writing Sample on the application.
